Service Description

The Male Physical Examination Simulation Lab is adapted for health care professionals including Nursing Students, Nurses, Nurse Practitioner Students, Nurse Practitioners, Medical Students, and other allied professions. This simulation provides learners with an opportunity to conduct a complete health history and physical examination on a standardized patient - teaching associate. Our teaching associates are specially trained standardized patients who are trained to guide you through the examination without the need for an instructor in the room. This allows you to gain the confidence of conducting the assessment without the pressure of someone watching over you. All equipment will be available at your session, however we recommend you bring your preferred stethoscope. You will also have the option of having a video review of the session with a doctoral or masters prepared health care professional after the session for even more feedback. Deposit must be paid at time of booking which is non-refundable. The remaining payment must be submitted CASH ONLY at the time of your appointment. 48 hours notice is required for re-scheduling.
